OREOS

Here are some yummy easy cookies, kind of like oreos but tastier and soft. I like to dye the frosting color-- like for Halloween I used orange, I also made some for a boy baby shower and dyed the frosting blue. You can make the cookies any size you want, but my favorite is to make them mini so they are bite sized.

Ingredients:

2 Chocolate cake mixes

1 cup of oil

4 eggs

Mix together. Bake at 325 for 8 min. (don't let them overcook so they will stay soft!). Let cool, then put frosting in between.

Frosting:

Mix together

8oz. Cream cheese

4 cups powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla (or other flavoring)

*This makes a lot of cookies, you could probably half the recipe pretty easy if you are making cookies for just your family...or not;)

So It Begins

So It Begins
This is a basic recipe blog of things I have cooked, liked, and will probably cook again. If I put my recipes here, then when I have my "what Im I going to cook for dinner tonigt?" moment and I come up blank I can revert back to this. Im not a big fan of recipe books-well I like to have them but forget what Ive tried and if its good or not. So I think this will be easier. Plus Kaylee, Bren, and I wanted a way to share recipes without acctually contacting each other so Im going to have to figure out how to do the team members so they can make posts too. If you, dear reader, would also like to contribe (and I do hope you do) feel free to leave a comment and Ill add you too. Oh and by the way- my recipes will most likely be basic, cheap, and easy. To be perfectly honest I dont like to cook at all so this should be interesting. Maybe Ill even rate the recipes on cheapness, tastyness, and fastness hmmmmmm.
